Nineteen municipalities/utilities attended the COVID-19 Strategic Sharing Group meeting on May 8. The participants shared utility updates on changing trends in water demand and financial impacts resulting from the COVID-19 epidemic and examined potential approaches to mitigate and adapt to these challenges. Guest expert Michael Fenn, senior advisor at Strategy Corp, provided a presentation on current and project financial trends and challenges as municipalities/utilities respond to COVID-19.
