CWN is pleased to announce the launch of a new Strategic Sharing Group for CLG members on advancing levels of service for municipal water, wastewater and stormwater systems in the context of uncertainty (e.g. changing customer expectations, evolving asset management programs, financial constraints, equity and affordability considerations, and challenges such as climate change and the COVID-19 pandemic).
This Strategic Sharing Group will run from October 2020 to September 2021. The kick-off meeting will take place on Microsoft Teams on Thursday, October 1 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. (EDT). At this meeting, the participants will review the group’s objectives and explore key challenges and knowledge gaps through structured discussion on key, high-level questions.
The first meeting agenda, terms of participation and primer have been filed in the members area documents library (click on the appropriate folder under “Strategic Sharing Groups”) or can be downloaded from the Strategic Sharing Group webpage.

Strategic Sharing Groups provide meaningful peer-to-peer sharing opportunities on emerging issues. CWN facilitates an environment for confidential dialogue among participating senior utility managers, and where appropriate, invites leading experts to share their knowledge. The discussion is directed by the group’s participants, with support from CWN staff who frame the issue, facilitate discussions, invite relevant guest experts, incorporate insights from the international community, create meeting captures, and use critical takeaways to shape future Consortium initiatives to support the municipal community.
Please treat all Levels of Service Strategic Sharing Group documents as confidential and use discretion when sharing with others in your organization due to the potential sensitivity of information.
