The purpose of this meeting is to connect with your peers and build on conversations we had during the 2021 Leadership Roundtables about “moving from customer service to community service.”

During the meeting, we will engage in dialogues about connecting your utility’s goals with your community’s goals. In addition to this, we will explore the opportunities your utility has with being a positive anchor your community. Representatives from Aarhusvand will discuss the innovative approaches being implemented in Aarhus, Denmark that exemplify the utility’s role as a positive anchor institution in its community. Our discussion with the representatives will focus on:

  1. Setting a clear vision that aligns with community goals.
  2. Innovative partnerships to deliver and optimize capital programs to meet those goals.

We will also highlight Canadian utilities that are engaging in similar work to help ground these ideas in the Canadian context.

For questions or interest in contributing to the discussions, please get in touch with Kim Jusek.
