We’re excited to share that Canadian Water Network is partnering with the Canadian Institute of Planners to deliver the Summer 2024 issue of Plan Canada, Canada’s national planning magazine.

The Summer 2024 issue will focus on integrated planning in support of water management. Here is your opportunity to showcase the work you’re doing in collaboration with your urban planning colleagues. We’re looking for articles on topics like:

• Integrating the water servicing and urban planning silos for water-wise cities.
• Increasing urban densities and water needs.
• Integrating water into our urban design.
• Floodplain, watershed planning and the management of coastal resources to keep residents safe.
• The role of green infrastructure in urban water cycle management.
• Water: planning for the extreme and building resilience.
• Green technologies such as water reuse and circularity.
• Equity issues in access to safe drinking water.

The deadline to submit an article is March 8.
