At the International Water Association’s World Water Congress and Exhibition in Toronto, Canadian Water Network (CWN) hosted a business forum focused on assessing chemicals in our water. The session brought together leading experts to discuss new methods for assessing chemicals in water that are revolutionizing our understanding of human health impacts, both in Canada and internationally.

The business forum featured insights from:

• Milou Dingemans, the chief science officer of KWR Water Research Institute and principal toxicologist in KWR’s Chemical Water Quality and Health team.
• Niladri Basu, a professor at McGill University who holds the Canada Research Chair (CRC) in Environmental Health Sciences.
• Nicola Crawhall, chief executive officer of CWN.
