Canadian Water Network (CWN) welcomes Jess Kidd as the senior program advisor for the Lake Ontario Collaborative Group.
The Lake Ontario Collaborative Group spans several municipalities along the north shore of Lake Ontario to support a common goal: to develop the Lake Ontario Water Quality Forecasting System.
Jess has completed three degrees at the University of Waterloo: a Bachelor of Environmental Studies, a Master of Science in Biology, and a PhD in Social and Ecological Sustainability. For most of her career, she has worked as an aquatic scientist at consulting firms.
In Jess’ spare time, she volunteers as the president and lake steward of the Redstone Area Lakes Association. She also works on scientific publications with a research group focused on environmental and cultural flows and collaborative water governance in Prince Edward Island (PEI).
Please join us in welcoming Jess to the team.
