This summer, Canadian Water Network (CWN) welcomed Kate Swift as the new senior manager of business opportunities and fundraising. In this role, Kate identifies, develops, and advances strategic opportunities in support of both CWN and the CWN Foundation.

“I am excited to work with the CWN team and its partners, who are committed to a healthy, sustainable, and equitable future for water and all Canadians,” says Kate. “I’m looking forward to contributing to this shared commitment and helping advance CWN’s work across Canada.”

Before joining CWN, Kate served as senior manager of Resource Mobilization at Aga Khan Foundation Canada, where she worked with the Public Engagement team to engage Canadians in fundraising initiatives and raise awareness of global development issues.

Kate’s prior experience will help CWN strengthen relationships and pursue new opportunities to advance its work.
