CWN welcomes Deborah Van Dyk as program manager
We’re happy to share that Deborah Van Dyk joined the CWN team as a program manager for our Wastewater-Based Surveillance Program in March 2023. Deborah is leading a 13-month demonstration project to support public health authorities in interpreting the meaning of WBS data for their communities and effectively communicating these results to the public.
CWN welcomes Talia Glickman as engagement and knowledge mobilization specialist
We’re excited to share that Talia Glickman joined Canadian Water Network in May 2023 as an engagement and knowledge mobilization specialist for our Wastewater-based Surveillance Program. She is responsible for engaging wastewater-based surveillance program participants and supporting knowledge mobilization and peer learning activities.
Ricky Soni joins CWN’s Board of Directors
We’re excited to share that Ricky Soni has joined Canadian Water Network’s (CWN) Board of Directors. Ricky is an experienced director in KPMG’s government solutions consulting practice. He has served public sector clients across Canada, including municipalities and public utilities. Ricky specializes in helping improve rate and tax setting in a public context, and finding the balance between financial sustainability and affordability for users.
As a chartered financial analyst (CFA), Ricky knows how to make sense of financial and operational data sets. More specifically, he understands how to develop evidence bases to inform recommendations and implementation strategies, many of which include addressing change management issues.
In addition to being a CFA, Ricky is a seasoned Project Management Professional (PMP) with strong expertise and knowledge to deliver projects on time, on budget and within scope. He is also a certified Prosci Change Manager.
